On July 25, 2016 Glacial Lakes Rubber & Plastics held an open house and ribbon cutting ceremony. The event was open to the public along with full South Dakota Congressional delegation including, Sen. John Thune, R-S.D.; Sen. Mike Rounds, R-S.D.; and Rep. Kristi Noem, R-S.D., Also, special guest Vibram USA CEO Mike Gionfriddo attended the event.
