Glacial Lakes Rubber & Plastics on July 20, 2015 celebrated partnership and an expansion effort. South Dakota Representative Kristi Noem and Vibram USA CEO Mike Gionfriddo attended the event. The Glacial Lakes Rubber & Plastics, which opened in 2014 expanded a year after. Glacial Lakes manufactures soles for athletic shoes and military combat boots.
